3D Stereo Wall The CRC maintains a Cyviz Viz3D passive-stereo projection system. The unit is located in the Robertson-Sayer building in the offices of the Center for Instructional Learning Technologies (CILT). The system is controlled by the CRC visualization server: a Dell Precession 690 workstation w/ Windows XP 64-bit, a 64-bit Xeon quad core processor, an NVidia FX-3500 graphics accelerator, and 8 Gigs of RAM. The visualization facility is available for use by university researchers and their private sector partners. Use must be scheduled in advance, and can be done by making an appointment with the CILT main office: 701-777-2129. Should you require software not already installed on the system, please contact Aaron Bergstrom, the CRC's HPC specialist. The visualization server is also available for computational projects, but is limited to CFD and 3D Rendering work. Permission to use the visualization server for this purpose must be obtained from Aaron Bergstrom.
